Written by LaShawn Daniels, Cory Rooney, Jennifer Lopez, Fred Jerkins III and its producer Rodney Jerkins, this track has a mid-tempo pop and R&B vibe mixed with Latin and hip-hop influences.
Beginning her career as an actor, Lopez's breakthrough role in the biographical film “Selena” in ‘97 was the spark that led to the launch of her music career. The single was well received not only by music critics praising its silky groove and edgy production, but commercially as well across the air waves evident by its success on the US Billboard Hot 100 peaking at no.1 for five consecutive weeks and selling over 1.2 million copies in the US alone.
