“Part Two” featured a catchy beat to get your head bopping and include versus from Ginuwine, Loon and Mario Winans with the song peaking at no.4 on the US Billboard Hot 100 and no.2 on the Billboard Hot Rap Tracks chart.
Diddy launched his own production company Bad Boy Entertainment back in ’93 and has since gone onto work with big name artists to the likes of Biggie, Mariah Carey and Mary J Blige just to name a few. It wasn’t until Biggie’s death in ’97 that Diddy released his 1st album “No Way Out” which included the no.1 tribute single “I’ll Be Missing You” topping the Billboard Singles Chart for 11 weeks, elevating his album to platinum status.
A second album Forever was released in 1999 spawning hits such as Satisfy You featuring R.Kelly, P.E.2000 and I’ll Do This For You. In the same year, he also created and launched his own clothing line “Sean Jean” achieving great success and recognition amongst the fashion industry. There is not much this man hasn’t done over his career but there are stand out tracks amongst his discography and we think I Need a Girl (Part Two) is one of them.
