90s Music Celebrations Classic Hip Hop Music RnB Vintage

Released in 1990 as the 2nd single from tbeir debut album Sex Packets, The Humpty Dance is performed by the late Shock G's alter ego "Humpty Hump" under the rap group Digital Underground.
This classic hit was ranked no. 30 on VH1's 100 Greatest Songs of Hip Hop in 2008 and selected as one of many songs to listen and download in the musical reference book "1001 Songs You Must Hear Before You Die", we couldn't agree more.
Without further ado and in recognition of Shock G's (RIP) contribution to the Hip Hop genre, get on the Humpty Dance this weekend 😉
Fun fact:
Shock G was responsible for 2Pac's breakthrough single "I Get Around" and co-producer of 2Pac's debut album 2Pacalypse Now. Pac also featured in the groups 1st single video "Doowutchyalike", see if you can spot him in the background 👀
